The Ski ALPIN CARD, delivers a superlative ski experience with 408 kilometres of ski slopes, 121 cable cars and lifts and a maximum of attractions (including guaranteed snowy conditions at the glacier).  For a premium skiing experience, the formula is simple: 1 ticket and 3 regions equals endless skiing pleasure.

Ski ALPIN CARD holders can use the ski buses within the villages of Saalbach Hinterglemm, Viehhofen, Leogang, Fieberbrunn, Zell am See and Kaprun free of charge. Additional connections include: Saalbach Hinterglemm - Viehhofen, Fieberbrunn - Leogang, Leogang - Saalfelden and Zell am See - Kaprun.



SKICIRCUS

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers 270 kilometres of ski slopes, it is one of the largest ski areas in Austria. Beginners, families and experts can use 140 km blue, 112 km red and 18 km of black slopes. With 70 cableways and lifts, more than 60 cosy ski huts, numerous snow parks, freeriding park, floodlight slopes and toboggan runs.



CIRCUITS

SKICIRCUS CIRCUIT

Also known as "The Challenge", this Skicircus circuit offers what is probably the biggest challenge of the entire ski region. Touring the entire Skicircus, inlcudes 68 km of slopes and 12,000 altitude metres connected by 32 ski. Expect approx. 7 hours.

 

SAALBACH CIRCUIT

20 km of exclusively blue slopes take a brief detour onto the slalom and giant slalom piste of the World Alpine Skiing Championship 1991.

 

HINTERGLEMM CIRCUIT

The Hinterglemm circuit features two different options with long downhills and 5,600 altitude metres.

 

LEOGANG CIRCUIT

Cosy and relaxed – hit amazing vantage points via exclusively blue slopes in the time span of two-and-a-half hours.

 

TYROL CIRCUIT

Only for ambitious winter athletes: The brief but intensive Tyrol circuit features many a tough challenge with 72% red slopes.



FREERIDE

The 70 lift facilities of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn lead you into the heart of the freeride world. Freeride here comprises deep-snow skiing in a freeride park, numerous freeride routes with different levels of difficulty, information points, avalanche beacon search fields and checkpoints Countless pistes run across fresh deep-snow hills offering both small and large challenges. Well-marked routes, some of which are beyond the regular slopes, as well as special freeride pistes await you. The two freeride parks on the Lärchfilzkogel and at the Asitzmuldenbahn lift offer visitors kickers and obstacles integrated into the terrain that prove challenging.


SNOWBOARDING

Saalbach Hinterglemm offers four snow parks. You can start to practise your first jumps and tricks in the Learn-to-Ride-Park or the Easy Park Fieberbrunn before moving on to the NITRO Snowpark with its kickers, boxes and rails. The huge NIGHTPARK in Hinterglemm is open until 9.30 pm!


SNOWSHOEING AND WINTER HIKING

An astonishing 140 km of winter hiking trails await in Hinterglemm. The Sonnalm has become the second home of winter hikers. Walk slightly uphill along a continuous gradual incline to one of the region’s most beautiful vantage points. Free hikes lead through Saalbach every Tuesday and to Hinterglemm every Thursday in January, February and March.


CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

From the hotel can quickly go into the valley and take the Reiterkogelbahn lift onto the mountain, where the altitude run waits to be conquered. Run to the Rosswaldhütte, a popular meeting place for skiers, winter hikers and cross-country heroes and enjoy a relaxing rest stop, in skating style.

 

The approx. 10.5 km long run in the valley end is tackled mostly in classic style. A brief ascent leads from the tennis hall at the Lindlinghof to the valley end and further to the valley end promenade. With the final ascent to the Lindlingalm.

 

There are several other options in the neighbouring village of Maishofen beyond the two cross-country ski trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Take the bus directly to the Genuss run (approx. 30 km), the difficult run (approx. 3 km) and thel floodlight run (also approx. 3 km) for cross-country action in the evening. There is also a direct connection to another 129 km of runs in the adjacent Saalfelden and Maria Alm .



TOBOGGANING

The most popular destination for tobogganing in Saalbach Hinterglemm is the Reiterkogel:Here you can race into the valley on a 3.2 km floodlit run – as late as 9.30 pm from Monday till Saturday. Access to the toboggan run is included with your ski pass, and toboggans can be rented at the Reiterkogelbahn valley station. 

 

Toboggan run Spielberghaus in Saalbach

  • Take the snow groomer shuttle to the Spielberghaus situated at 1,311 m, with a brief stop. The three-kilometre-long run leads back into the valley.
  • Timok's Coaster in Fieberbrunn runs over 1,160 m.
  • Toboggan run Almbahn 4er in Leogang
  • Toboggan run Leo's Kufengaudi in Leogang is located at the Asitzbahn intermediate station
